Laura Riveros Sefair

Laura is originally from Bogotá, Columbia. While earning her degree with MISI Escuela de Teatro Musical, she was accepted into the school’s professional musical theatre company where she performed numerous leading, supporting, and ensemble roles in such shows as Jesus Christ Super Star, Grease, Annie, The Wizard of Oz, Six Characters in Search of an Author, and Aeschylus’ The Oresteia.

Since arriving in New York, Laura has studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and the Labyrinth Theater Company. She has performed with Hybrid Theatre Works, MultiStages, IATI Theatre, SansComedia, as well as many other companies. She is an Associated Artist and founding member of Tabula RaSa NYC Theatre Lab, with whom she received a 2014 ATI Award nomination for Best Actress. She also works as an early childhood music and soccer teacher throughout New York.
